Our Story

Project MOMENTUM is fully funded by a $2.7 million grant from the National Professional Development Program from the U.S. Department of Education Office of English Language Acquisition (Award #T365Z220119). 

The National Professional Development program provides grants to eligible organizations to design and implement high-quality professional development activities that improve instruction for multilingual learners. The Southeast Service Cooperative was selected as a grant recipient in Fall 2022 with anticipated funding through Spring 2027.

Over the next five years, a team of instructional designers and subject matter experts will be designing and launching online courses that can lead to micro-credentials and micro-endorsements for teachers, administrators and other education staff in Minnesota.
